Although the new Fire Emblem lost it's touch imo, I have always loved the Fire Emblem storys and characters. The fighting is intense, the games themselves are very hard, and you feel a painful loss for every character in your army that dies, with the exception of the most recent addition. They take a long time to complete, and you feel a sense of awe and wonder when the plot twists or thickens in a way that you never expected.

I can't pick a personal favorite of all the Emblem games, as they all have a great story, relatable characters, and fun gameplay. My only wish is that we get a new version soon, because I'm getting a bit ancy lol :P
